Give everyone their due right.
Ubadah Ibn ‘l-Samit رضي الله عنه reports that Rasúlullãh ﷺ said,
“He is not from amongst us (the Muslim community) who:
(1) does not honour our elders;
(2) does not have mercy on our young ones;
(3) and does not acknowledge the rights of our scholars.” [Aḥmad]
